Johnston is remembered fondly by our entire family. I (John) have memories of him from a happy baby living at Riverside, Cloghoge to an older man who enjoyed holidays in our home and was very much part of our family. My late sister Tilly was especially fond of Johnston and they became pen pals and Tilly awaited the post or to see Johnston for a big hug. When he visited our home, our own family were growing up and he got stuck into everyday life on a farm and was inquisitive to know the workings of all. We loved the joy and enthusiasm Johnston brought and will miss him dearly. Love John and Muriel Donaldson
